Odyssey of the mind

Odyssey of the mind projects encourage children to think outside of the box.
For this project, I gave the children a package of "dots" and a package of toothpicks. They had to build anything with those materials.

21st century skills

21st century skills include creativity, collaboration, communication and problem solving.

I gave them a project where they had to individually create their own tree. Then they had to choose a partner, and the two of them had to find a way to combine their 2 trees into 1 new tree. After that, they had to bring their tree to life and make a model of it using construction paper. The last part of the project was that they had to decide between themselves and the partner, who was going to keep the model and who was going to keep the paper blueprint.
They came up with some interesting ideas!
